Me Valérie Moreau

NOTARY

After completing her law studies at the Université de Sherbrooke, Me Moreau was sworn in, in 2008 and began her career in traditional practice in the Eastern Townships. Being a businesswoman with a passion for the law and her practice, she has a committed vision of her profession, and she promotes the position of proximity that the Notary assumes within society and with people in the community. She practices with rigor and humanity, with the sole aim of serving her clients with professionalism and integrity and meeting their specific needs. Her attention to detail and dedication make her a valuable ally to clients and business partners. As part of her general practice, she has developed expertise in various fields of law, and she specializes in the areas of estate settlement law, non-contentious procedures and testamentary planning. A natural philanthropist, Me Moreau cultivates this value by investing in her community in various ways, including involvement on multiple boards and committees in order to support or advance causes that align with her values. She is also involved in various ways with the next generation of notaries, notably as a teacher during the professional training days offered by the Chambre des notaires du Québec.

Me Sophie Mantas

Notary

After graduating from the Université de Sherbrooke, Me Mantas was sworn in as a Notary in April 2025 and is now beginning her promising legal career with the team. With the experience she has gained at the firm since her debut as a candidate to the profession of Notary in August 2024, Me Mantas knows how to put her caring personality to good use. She is committed to supporting the firm’s clients with rigor and integrity. Her professionalism and discernment, combined with her strong listening ability, will allow her to put her clients’ needs first. As a general practitioner, Me Mantas will be able to serve the firm’s clients with all their legal needs.

Emmy Carrière

Since joining the team in March 2026, Emmy has been able to draw on her training as a paralegal, the skills she acquired through previous work experience, and her strong intellectual curiosity. Currently completing her master’s studies in notarial law leading to the notarial profession, she stands out for her rigor, professionalism, and attention to detail. Appreciated for her organizational skills and warm personality, she provides valuable support in managing files and the study’s operations. Her commitment and constant desire to deepen her knowledge make her an important asset to the team and a valuable resource for the study’s clients.

Josée Benoît

LEGAL ASSISTANT

Having joined the team in 2021, Josée has carved out an important place for herself within the firm. Rigorous and organized, she participates in the various follow-ups essential to the smooth running of the files. She is also responsible for various editorial projects, as well as administrative and accounting tasks. Drawing on her previous work experience as an administrative assistant, Ms. Benoît’s meticulous respect for deadlines and processes, as well as attention to detail, have benefited the firm. A diligent worker, she performs her tasks with great care to ensure a sound sequence of steps in the files she handles and fosters benevolent collaboration with her colleagues.
